How exactly did Fred Durst contribute to Outside?

He basically made the song popular. If you had the song, "Outside - Aaron Lewis" people wouldn't know who the heck Aaron was. Most people don't even know he's in Staind :) Durst just made the song popular since it was co-sung (well supposidely) by him.

what he did was make Aaron Lewis relize that he needed to make a remake of it without fred durst. ;)

He made Aaron realize not only that Limp Bizkit sucks, but Staind does also! That's why he's all sad...:( Gimme a break...

You know, I hate him in that song (Durst I mean), but I hate the remake of the song even more, so I put up with him. The live version is SOOOOOOOOOO much better.

I prefer the metal version. Not cause of the distortion, just that funky extra little piano/guitar melody gets me.
