How easy is it to change out a CMOS battery?

You just remove the old one and put in a new one. I'd think the hardest part would be making sure not to drop the battery into the case.

Should it just pop right out? What would happen if I drop it in the case? Could it damage anything?

I ALWAYS drop mine into the case...once it even went under the mobo...lol
