How early should I arrive for a movie screening?

I got one of those things in the mail for a Bourne Identity screening tonight in NYC. It says starts at 7:30 and tickets are first come-first serve so arrive early. But how early should I get there?? Thanks

early enough for you to open the theatre, wipe the bathrooms nice and shiny, and have my drink ready :)

I'd say at least 6:00 PM if you want a decent seat. Bring a friend so you can guys can save each other's place in line in case you need to grab a bite to eat or use the bathroom.

you might want to get there a little earlier, like 530 or so.... i've seen LONG lines for movie premiers in LA... i imagine the lines in ny will be just as long if not longer

I got there at 6:00 and got really great seats.

I got it because I am a subscriber to Wired Magazine.

BTW - The Bourne Identity is a goooood movie.
