How early do you plan on showing up to Spider-Man: The Movie?!?!?!

I'm thinking of either going friday night with some of my buddies and buying an extra ticket for a girl, or getting a ticket for saturday morning. Either way, I'm going to be buying my tickets ahead of time on Fandango.

I was thinking of showing up an hour ahead of the movie. What do you guys think? How early do you plan on showing up?

I'll bump this thread on Friday so then the east coasters can give us west coasters a little help.

I'm just worried about the lines forming for the good seats.

If I have a gf, they'll both get the same amount of money out of me. Considering Episode 1 though, I'm guessing I'd rather watch spider-man twice...

I work in a theatre, if you bought your tickets beforehand and you get there an hour
before you have a good chance at getting a seat. If you go to a really big popular theatre
though, I don't know how you'll fare. And please please don't come to my theatre
5 minutes after the movie starts not wanting to sit in the front because you won't get
a refund or exchange

I got a ticket for the 2:55 showing, and the theater is pretty popular, AFAIK. However, I'll be out of work by 1:30, so I should be there no later than 2. Also, school kids won't be home at that time, so I should have no problem.
