How dusty does it get when they rip up tile?

We have a crack running from one side of our townhouse to the other.... Cracking the grout and making the tiles above loose.

They are coming tommorow to rip up the tiles above the crack so they can fix it, then replace the tiles....

Good idea to tarp everything downstairs?

I'd put up some plastic over the doorways in that room to try to keep some of the dust down.

Unfortunately its one big great room downstairs... I could push stuff into nooks/crannys and tarp off those areas...

make sure you have a very powerful vacuum.

..wouldn't hurt. Mabe some kind of runners where they will be walking in/out of your home.
