how dumb does he think i am...?

I listed my laptop on craigslist, and i've been getting these scammer emails from this guy over and over again with pretty much the same email but with a different email address/name. haha, if the first one didn't get me to fall for the scam, he should stop trying....

here are two out of the many emails i got from him:

As far as the condition of the item including all it's accessories i am fully okay with it and i will be offering you $450.00 for this item.So i will like you to close the auction of this item so we could proceed with the transaction.

I will be making my payment Via Alertpay through my AlertPay account which the money will be delivered to your contact address through postage in Cash after the payment has been approved and you have been sent the confirmation from the bank.

Moreso, the shipping cost will be handle by me via my FedEx Courier Service as soon as the payment has been confirmed by the bank,i will email you a FedEx shipping slips(label & invoice) that you will paste on the package for shipment.

So if my offer is accepted,Do get back to me with your full name,address and phone number for the transaction to be completed,moreover do not forget to close the auction like i have said earlier.

They are being productive... those scammers still make a HUGE amount of money, compared to what they would otherwise earn in Nigeria.

I honestly think its someone who came back from the future because the economy in the future has gone to crap and therefore they have to come back and steal money from the present so they can put it into bank accounts and make money for their future selfs.

Nothing new.
Craigslist is littered with scammers. I made an ad for my computer and I got about 3 scam offers a day for about a month.
Just learn to ignore them, or use them for your amusement.

on one occasion they got a greedy bunch and ended up getting them to pay for NINE shipments. they even sent old kitchen applicances... stove, dryer, etc... hahahaha.
