How does Walmart handle Warranties for HDTV's?

Say I just bought a new $600 HDTV and I bring it home only to find out that it has some major defect. Will Walmart let me return it? Would they replace it and give me one that isn't broken? How many years would the warranty be good for?
 
Once the return policy is up with Walmart you have to contact the manufacturer, if it is Vizio, good luck, you will need it.
