How does transferring Dell PC warranties work?

I've tried reading through Dell's Terms and Agreements to get my answer but it's a lot to read through and I'm only getting more confused. I was hoping someone could help me here.

I bought a couple Dell PCs a couple weeks ago. Just to be on the safe side, I checked off the box that said "Intended for resale".

Now I have an extra PC and want to sell it to a friend. It's still in the box unopened. How does transferring the warranty over to my friend work? I'm assuming it can be done because I see a lot of Ebay ads offering Dell products with the included warranties.

im pretty sure the "intended for resale" is only for tax purposes.
