I need a suit...this seems like a pretty good deal...do you recommend any other suits in my price range...around a $100
 
Is that how all mens suits are cut now? Going in on the waist like a womans?

Not trying to be funny, but does it look like that to anyone else... the hourglass shape?

and are the sleeves supposed to be so short that the shirt shows thru?

 
If you have any friends in the military stationed in korea have them get a tailor over there to hook you up. Send your measurements. Serious quality for like 200 dollars. The suit will last a lifetime. Its a common thing there. Most anyone you contact over there will know what you are talking about. I know its a longshot. I just remember Korea=quality cheap suits. A bell was like ding ding ding.(in my head, not a real bell)

the athletic cut is an acceptable conservative option

yes a little of the shirt sleeve is supposed to show.

suit is nice, not flashy good choice.

 
I like to buy stuff online but I would never buy a suit in case it doesn't fit right - check the stores return policy. It looks like a nice basic suit, but it says black and burgundy so it may not go with everything. I have a solid black suit similar to that style and I can wear the jacket with any color pants or shirt. I would check local menswear stores like mens wearhouse or discount stores like TJ Maxx.
