Sell my 5700u on ebay (they seem to fetching upwards of $140) and put my stashed $165 dollars into that, have a lump sum of $300 or so, and get a 6800nu? Then when i'm ready to move to PCI-E within the next 10 months, resell the 6800, and regain some of its value. I'm so tempted!!!

If you can get $140 for it, put another $110 into it and get that BFG 6800nu on Outpost.com for $250

What card would you pick, a Chaintech 6800, with 770 MHz memory, and a faster clocked core, or a Leadtek 6800, with a silent cooler, and 3 games?

Chaintech (do a model # search on their main page, that lists the specific clockspeeds, and the actual heatsink of this model)

Leadtek (GAMES!!!)

the whole idea sounds good. though why not spend a bit more and get a gt ? unless will DEFINATELY upgrade in 10-12 months in which case your whole case makes good sense.

I find the Leadtek more attractive due to its unique heatsink and games bundle, both got great reviews though. I say go for the Leadtek.

Which one do you think would be more likely to make the soft-mod, and unlock the other 4 pipes? I'm just at a crossroads here, the Leadtek seems really nice because of the quiet fan, big ehatsink, and quiet fan, but the Chaintech's speeds are really nice.

But the offer ends on Saturday (Tomorrow) so if you want that deal you gotta get it ASAP, you won't even have time to sell your current card. It's the best deal ATM
