How does this sound?

Currently I'm running an Abit NF7-S V2.0 motherboard with a Barton 2500+. I'm thinking about purchasing a Heatsink and Fan so I can begin to overclock. Here is what I'm looking at so far.

Thermalright SLK-947U
Sunon 92 X 92 X 25mm Case fan, Model "KD1209PTB2"

This fan seems to be good but it says the compatibility is case only. Does that matter? I'm just curious. I would get tornado with a fan controller but I can't find any fan controllers on Newegg that work with the Tornados. I was looking at the Panaflo 12H1A I believe but they are out of stock and I would like to order my new Heatsink now.

Also one other note if anyone hasn't been able to fit the SLK-947U on there NF7-S V2.0 PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I've heard that people are having no trouble whatsoever with getting this heatsink on this motherboard but I would like to hear the problem cases. Thanks for all the help everyone 🙂 I would like to order my new heatsink as soon as possible so I can overclock 🙂 🙂

You have to buy a fan that has a 3-pin output, or most motherboards won't even boot to the bios. I'm not 100% sure that the NF7-S is one of them, but I would guess that it is. You know, with a good heatsink, an 80mm Tornado would be plenty.

you dont need a 3 pin. im sitting here staring at my CPU fan plugged with molex connecters straight into my PSU. id check into it more though...
