Intel E2180

2x1GB DDR2 800 Gskill 44.99 [anything DDR2 800 2gb cheap will do however] Check out the store frys during the weekend. They have some insane memory deals over the weekends.

Cooling Sink: The chip i linked you to is OEM. Meaning no sink. After market sinks are better because when you do decide to overclock, it gives you the headroom. And its not difficult overclockig this chip with this board and ram combo.

GPU: 8800GT 512MEG

All you need now is Hard Drive, PSU. Hard drive get 7200RPM, and largest capacity possible. I like seagates, and Western Digitals in aspect of speed and performance.

so far that sums up to 538.99

how much is the hard drive and psu gonna run for?
wow.

after i build this will it be a chobit level?

not even close... depending on some peoples definition of chobit. Do you know what chobit means even? Its a name off an old anime i once fell i love with that has to do with a super computer.

The GPU is whats killing you. But if the machine is a gaming machine, you need a great videocard to save yourself from massive upgrades in the future.

I sent you a private message (accessed on the left side of the screen). If you still want the spreadsheet, I'm going to need your e-mail address, but you may want to send it via PM, so you don't get spammed.

No problem. I might put it up on a google spreadsheet later, so you and anyone else can take a look at it. It is a pretty good tool, and it is pretty easily updated. I've never used google spreadsheet before, but I'll figure it out when I get home.

edt: You can look at it here: Computer Spreadsheet

actually im reconsidering the board right now for a better budget board.

i was actually thinking and i dont think your going to hit the voltage wall on the IP35-E. Its about 50 dollars cheaper then the ASUS P5K-E so you can shave some money off on the board side.

The videocard i think is something you should really consider if your a gamer. As i said, in a gaming computer, the videocard is always the #1 component you build your system around.

Also, i dont have the exact numbers and requirements for spore, but im thinkn its going to require something powerful when you advance and start building cities and worlds in the game.
