How does this Raid work on my Abit K7A

Just wondering if someone can clarify my confusion. If I want to do Raid 0 with 2 or 3 disk on my new ABit K7A motherboard do I put the first HD on the the regular IDE connection and then the Raid disk(s) to the raid controller. The owner's manual is fuzzy about the physical setup.
Thanks

The book says master of IDE3 and Master of IDE4. Abit has a good link from there support section. I'm still trying to get this to work myself.

With 3 disks, your best solution would be to keep your OS on the HDD connected to the Primary (VIA 686B) controller. The other 2 disks should be the same make and model. 1 each connected to IDE3 and IDE4. Enter the RAID BIOS and define the array. The array size will be the combined size of the 2 disk. (You can use differnt disks but the array will only be twice the size of the smallest drive). After the array is defined, Format the array and use it like one big disk.
