How does this little tuner card gadget work?

I have always thought of tuner cards as something to put in one of your free PCI slots in your PC. How do you use this thing? It looks wireless, how can this be? Is there some other kind of attachment?

This one's a USB tuner - so you'll still need to plug in a coax cable for OTA or Cable reception.

Yeah, I saw the coaxial connection, but I wasn't sure how you hooked it up to your computer from there. I didn't realize until I checked further that there is a USB plug at the other end. This is pretty nifty, I'll have to pick it up.

Don't plug that directly into your USB port or you will damage it with the stress from a stiff coaxial cable and the huge amount of leverage it provides. It's beyond me why they make those things in a USB stick format instead of a dongle
