How does this cooler compare to the one on the XFX card?

I've tried XFX's 7950GT Extreme before:

Now after some RMAs with EVGA. I have a 7950GT KO Superclocked, but I've replaced the stock cooler with a Thermalright HR-03 Rev A:

Hopefully this Thermalright cools better than the passive heatsink on the XFX.

Holy mother of nVidia! That thing is enormous. Without a fan, though, your temps may be a little high:

It's actually pretty cool. The XFX card I linked to above would idle around 48C and get up to ~58C when doing anything graphics intensive. My 7950GT now with this Thermalright cooler idles around 44C and gets up to ~53C doing anything graphics intensive.
