How does this compare to the FX?

LostCircuits benches the Tyan Radeon 9700 PRO at 400Mhz.

Not only does it beat the GF-FX in the benchs (pretty convincingly) with it's O/C'd core, it doesn't sound like a DustBuster and is available NOW.

Pretty good signs pointing to the R350 refresh of the 9700Pro as being a GF-FX "killer".

Can you post some benches to compare? I'm too lazy to do so...

Un no . . . I am extrapolating.

Let's say that the GF-FX DustBuster is 10% faster than the Radeon 9700Pro . . .

. . . The Tachyon with it's O/C'd 370 / 340 MHz was generally 10% or faster than the regular Pro . . . SO . . .

I hope my FIC 9700 Pro which should get here tomorrow overclocks to 400MHz

BTW, they could only get a stable overclock of 370/340.
