How does the voice quality of Vonage compare to your local carrier?

I spend hours on the phone everyday and I'd be easily bothered by rough audio quality. I often make LD calls to the UK.
 
Same, maybe even a little bit better.

But beware. If your cable company has problems, or there is an "internet storm" voice quality can take a huge hit and faxing ability is nil.

Granted, these are very rare, but they do occur.
