How does the Venomous-X stack up these days?

Got one sitting here I could use for my Ivy build, but not sure how well these sinks measure up against the newest available. Seems the VX gets left out of a lot of new graphs, partly due to its age and availability I'm sure.

Just curious. Not looking to get an insane OC on my 3570k, but just trying to make sure I have decent enough cooling capacity for say 4.2-4.4.

Will have push-pull GT AP-15's on the VX.

It's still a very capable cooler. The CPU cooler market doesn't really evolve very fast, there's only so much you can improve on the basic design that consists of metal fins, heatpipes and a fan to move air. VX should definitely get 4.4 on a 3570K, especially with push-pull. Hell, even Hyper 212+ can achieve 4.4 with good case airflow and the right chip.
