How does the performance level in the memory affect component life

I can achieve very low latency benchmarks just by lowering the trd setting in the bios. I actually lower a value called performance level in the memory. I just wonder if this is hard on the memory or anything for that matter.

i really dont think so. Whats hard on the memory is increasing voltage beyond specs, not messing with timings

Make sure if you tweak your timings to test with tools like memtest (for windows) or OCCT, whether its actually stable.

Thank you for the advice. I will keep these new settings then. The new settings have lowered my latency benchmark on Everest by 24%.
