Mine is here. It's a Lian Li PC65. Not top of the line, but a nice case. It's all good.

Here's another pic.

is that a 7700 in there? looks huge and heavy. Sleeve the wires or wrap them in those soft plastic tubes will help.

yup, that is the 7700cu behemoth. how would sleeve wrapping the wires help? the problem is that I have wires trying to reach all over the case with not enough slack to tuck them away..

Then throw on some short extenders, heat shrink tube the connections, and then hide them. :)

What kind of fans are those?
Tas.

Some cheap generic fans I picked up at a local computer show. They move a lot of air but are a bit on the noisy side. So I connected them to a Nexus Fan Controller and turned them way down. System stays pretty cool even under load. Of course the XP 90 helps a lot.

I just bought the CoolerMaster Aquagate mini 120 for the P180.

My original plan was to remove the lower HDD case and place the radiator/fan near the intake and use it the cool the PSU as well. The air shouldn't be too hot for the Phantom. The radiator actually fit very nicely behind the intake, but the problem is that the silicon tubes are too short to reach the CPU.

My backup plan is to install the radiator at the top exhaust. It fits very well in there too but the air up there is not as cool as at the intake, and wouldn't look as neat. It's too hard to modify the Aquagate mini coz there's no refill/bleeding instruction. If I change to longer tubes i might not be able to set it up efficiently... more decision making!

i'll post pic when it's done

How well does that thing cool in comparison to whatever it was that you were running before? (I'm assuming you were using air cooling)

I read some reviews. The 120mm model should be on par with my zalman 7000 or slightly better depending on fan speed setting. The reason is that I'm going to build a second PC with my older A64 3000 stuff so i'll need a new hsf anyway.

The idea came when I saw this at fry's and i thought it's compact size will fit the P180 well, and it's not too expensive, and easy to setup. My original intend was to place the radiator at the lower compartment to isolate the CPU heat from the main chasis. That's probably not going to work now. but placing it at the top exhaust is not a bad idea either.

Man I love the P180..
almost makes me want to trade in my WM for it....

the Wavemaster is awesome, it's just, as far as a GOOD case goes.... pales in comparison to th P180.

i notice that alot of people's 6800 cards with the zalman vf700 are sagging if they are upside down on a standard atx case. mine is opposite, it sags up since its upside down.

New: P180 with Thermaltake Big Water kit!

I didn't like how the Aquagate Mini fits so I returned it and gave BigWater 120mm a shot. Turned out it fits perfectly in P180. The dimension of its radiator is just perfect for the lower intake. The pump also fit nicely at the lower section using the included welcro. Test ran it this morning with side panel open. No leak found and CPU idle temp was 32C. Going to do more testing later. Here are some pics of the the setup:

Tas.

Usually idle at 34-36 idle w/ zalman 7000. But I had the side panel open so it's not accurate. I didn't have time to do any further testing coz already late for work.

Hey Dyna, mind adding some pics here? Nice machine by the way. Very sexy... :)

The left side of my case
The right side of my case
Tas.

Thanks... and sure I will add my machine to your gallery.

By the way, for everyone else, this pic shows my new samsung hard drive added... not much difference, but its in there.... The first two pics didn't show it.

I'm assuming you swapped out the coolermaster fan for a nexus (judging by the orange color here) Do you notice much of a difference?

Sorry if this is slighty OT... Just wanted to show my most good-looking (IMO) case... The insides of my computers are so messy, you wouldn't want to see them anyway... ;)

Wow, that's pretty nice. What are those drive bays with the displays on them? Hard drive enclosures?

I think it's a pretty decent job for my first build, though it doesn't quite stand up to some of the stuff i've seen here. That little purple bar tucked towards the back in the bottom right corner of the pic is a godsend for cable management. Though it's not a high priority (having a "sleeper" case w/o window) I'm still wanting to put that sleeving that came with the DFI mobo to use and clean it up some more.

Only parts that bug me are the bottom backside fan and the HD. That fan's cable is just long enough to reach the mobo plug, but not long enough to tuck anywhere. And though you can't see it, there's an 80mm fan mounted in the bottom 3.5" bay that cools it well, but makes the back end of the HD hang out and mess with the cable layout.

And yes, I know my PDA's digital camera sucks.

Yeah I have the antec CS600...its white though....my wiring looks like a rats nest.

Thanks! Yep, those are harddrive heatsinks with fans and temperature sensors. Antec brand. My house tends to be hot and I was concerned that my harddrives weren't getting adequate cooling. Cooling isn't all that good in that case, unfortunately.
