How does the amazon Cart+wishlist thing worK?

What is the purpose of the wishlist? Is it to keep tabs on items that you don't want to buy immediately? If you put an item in your cart, say it's on sale, and then you don't want to buy it right away, but then the price of the item climbs back up again, do I still get to keep the same price? I've noticed some times items in my cart will say that the price has reduced, but I was wondering, does amazon increase them if the item price increases? Does this apply to the wishlist as well?

yah it increases/decreases as the price change.
