Ok so from what I have read. Big picture mode is supposed to make your computer (steam) into a console. The problem with this is alot of pc games only take input from a keyboard and mouse. (I know alot also can use a controller like Microsoft pc 360 controller)

So what about games like heroes of might and magic or age of empires. Can you use a controller with these types of games.

See I love pc gaming but I hate having to sit infront of the monitor. I prefer to lay in bed do to some back issues. So are all games on steam now able to use a controller.

Ps. When I say controller I mean the PC version of the Microsoft 360 controller.

Big picture mode is independent from the games. Big picture gives an interface suitable for use on a tv when you're on the sofa and you can control it with a controller.

Not all steam games are controller enabled. Select a game that's kb and mouse with no controller support and you need to use a kb and mouse. Steam does indicate which games have partial or full controller support, which is helpful.

If you go to the Steam store search under advance search options, category there is a search option for Full Controller Support and Partial Controller Support.

It should be made easier to find then it is, but for some reason isn't.
