How does Star Wars: ATOC compare with Matrix 2 and X 2 in your opinions?

I just got Star Wars: ATOC from netflix today, my son wanted to watch it.

How do you guys think ATOC compares to Matrix 2 and X 2??

i think lucas has lost it. i don't think he competes with the best out there anymore. anyway, Episode 1 and 2 anyway.

I've seen Xmen 2, but haven't seen Matrix 2 yet, but I can tell you that ATOC sucks compared to most movies.

I'm seeing Matrix 2 tomorrow, but X2 is far superior to ATOC in my opinion. ATOC was okay, but I think I remember it more fondly just because it's Star Wars.

one can still comment on the excellence with which a movie was carried out. Star Wars: Episode 1 and 2 will never be what the original trilogy was and it doesn't meet the standards of the top movies out today either.

Actually, when they remade Psycho, it was exactly the same as the original. Shot for shot.

And ATOC still sucked.

phantom menace and atoc are what happens when you surround a person with a band of sycophants.

dialog so horrible you want to die at times. no one could gather the balls to tell lucas something was wrong. its just sick.

Natalie Portman. Mmmmmmm. She's supposedly pretty intelligent too, having attained fluency in 5 languages, one of which was Hebrew. Anyway that was the only redeeming quality of AOTC.

Yah, its really not fair to compare the movies as Matrix 2 and Xmen2 are far better movies. As far as I am concerned, the one and only redeeming quality of AOTC is Yoda, and thats only because I am predisposed to liking him for some reason. If he was not in the movie... Well, I don't want to think about it.

My sont loves watching the scene where they fight the monsters in that arena..sounds awesome in surround..i think my neighbors wonder what the heck im doing when i keep on playing it over and over
