He comes off as someone who use to report celebrity gossip for a living. He memorizes a bunch of other sports articles & regurgitates generalized info. According to him, he's best friends with everyone, & knows what everyone has been saying to everyone else. I was just talking to so & so, & I've known him for years before he was this & that. Cold Pizza blows. The only thing worse, is every ten minutes on Mike & Mike, they go, "Here's what's comming up next on Cold Pizza". :|

I can't stand any ESPN shows.

It's like foxnews for sporting.

I get my news info from online articles.

Skip Bayless is almost as big of an idiot as Greg Doyle on cbs.sportsline.com, and Doyle got promoted from College B-Ball sportswriter to senior writer and now covers everything on sportsline.com

I think being a complete dumbass is a requirement for one person on every sports staff. That way people can keep saying how much they hate that person.

I love Mike and Mike. I also love Jim Rome. Other than that I couldn't care less about anything other than local.

I's very entertaining radio when Skipper fills in for Jim Rome. He knows how to get a rise out of the Luckeye fans and delves very deep into the volleyball scene in Top Gun.

Also, Colin Cowherd is by far and away the best ESPN radio personality.

OMG. We must ban you! Cowturd is by far the worst thing I've ever heard for sports radio.

I like Rick Bayless' (Skip's brother) cooking show, Mexico: One Plate at a Time. I don't care for Skip though.

You are right about Doyell. He is a complete, utter idiot. All he does is systematically write stuff to piss off certain fanbases, so they'll get up in arms and call/write in, which shows his bosses that people read his stuff.

His last name used to be caught by the language filter at the NC State forums before they changed the software.

Skip Bayless has a lot of strong opinions, it's just that most of them are very wrong.

QFT about Colin. He's hilarious and I don't find myself disagreeing with him much. That bit where he made fun of Doug Gottlieb for going to a John Mayer concert was priceless.

I just thought Skip was there more for entertainment. Whatever. There still are some good shows on ESPN, Jim Rome, Around the Horn, PTI - I still watch Baseball Tonight to keep up on everything around the league, but it's hard to take on nights when Bonds hits a homerun and Tim Kurkjian goes into one of his speeches about how we all need to embrace and appreciate the glorious history that we are experiencing...

That's the only time I can stand Skip Bayless.

You forgot to mention how he likes to keep the audience up-to-date on how much diet Mountain Dew he has left.

One reason to keep skip around; the ohio st-miami discussion whenever he takes over Rome's radio show.

He's a Vandy grad so his real sports knowledge is limited. They did just win their first ever NC in womens bowling though. Commodedoors are on their way up baby!
