How does Protocol Independent Multicast - Dense Mode work?

I wanted to find a quick answer. PIM-DM works by flooding and letting the receivers prune itself if they do not want to receive the multicast transmission. If all receivers decide to prune the multicast transmission, does the source stop sending?
