Whats the best fan to connect to a fan bus(from silent to great cooling), with the best range of RPM's vs voltage applied?)

What are the ranges of commercial fanbuses like the coolermaster aerogate II (7volt to 12 volt) or (5volt to 12 volt)
 
I have always wanted to use High Output delta fans on a fanbus... like the nexus unit for example. I hear the work quite nicely and are quite quiet when undervolted. I know that they do use a very good berring system in comparison to many other fans on the market so this would make sense. Other than that, the thermaltake variable speed fans would be nice (there is a model that goes to 70ish cmf's I believe - 80mm). However, i'm not sure how you would hook that up to a bus... I have heard there is a way to disable the temp sensing in them (the new ones or all might have that option).

Sorry my brain is a bit fuzzy on details... I checked into this a long while ago so quoting exact specs is hard and it's 5am... but basically you want something that can move a decent amount of cmf's when you want it to. IMHO it's better to have the power there when you need it b/c you can always turn it down (and of course that's the point).
 
I don't know about that particular model, but the Panaflo's are supposed to be some of the best to undervolt. I personally would probably go with a Vantec Tornado, because they move huge amounts of air when needed (84cfm for the 80mm, and 119 for the 92mm), plus they use a "normal" 4-pin connector, but have a 3-pin connector, for speed detection. Here's a link to them.
 
I use the 80MM H1<U>A</U> fans as a replacement for the Adda's in my Lian-Li PC-65b case, controlled by a Sunbeam rheobus. The fans move a lot of air on the full setting, but are a bit noisy.

At the "half" setting, they are significantly quieter, yet keep my system at idle at 36C (CPU) and about 28C (Board). This is the setting which I use 80% of the time. They are nowhere near as quiet as an L1A, but they are easy to live with!
 
I would have to say "no". I've got an L1A on the side panel of my 2nd rig cooling my 9800NP, and that's virtually inaudible. The H1A, even at it's lowest setting, has a bit of mechanical noise, kind of a 'growl", but it's not objectionable to me.
 
The problem with the h1a fans is that they seem to buzz when they are undervolted, and don't get quiet until they are turned way down, at least in my experience.
Right now I'm running 3 of them because SVC sent me the wrong fans... I asked for m1as instead which I have running in my powersupply and seem to undervolt a lot nicer.

So now I'm ordering m1as elsewhere so I can return my h1as to SVC.
 
Do the Panaflo M's at SVC have the rpm wires? I dont want to accidentally get the wrong part. My display wont shut-up without a active rpm on the fans conencted to it.
