My desk faces the door of my office and everyone walks past to the tearoom 🙁

I've managed to get a few posts in Video but that's about it 😱

set opacity on your browser close to 0. That way, you can see if you squint, but people passing by can't see well.
 
use the anandtech greasemonkey script in firefox....makes anandtech look like just another spreadsheet i think, and thus looks as if you were actually doing work 😀

one problem, i have no idea how to do any of this, and i'm stuck using IE...
 
Get a bicycle mirror and put it on your monitor. That way you can see when someone is behind you and alt+tab. I also used a program that would minimize any other program to the system tray.
 
well if no firefox then no greasemonkey script and thus you are outta luck

i like the mirror idea...or do it with a big ol conveniece store mirror? just tell em your paranoid about people walking up on you...
 
Resize the ATOT window so it fits neatly over the "message preview" window of Outlook/Outlook Express (or whatever you use).

It looks just like you're reading an email 😉
 
You could get one of those screen shields, thats what we have here at work, makes the screen blury unless your right up to it and looking striaght at it.
