How does one go about reporting an outstanding debt to the credit bureaus?

Been trying to find info online here at work, but i'm not seeing any particular process for accomplishing this....

I'd send it to a collection agency. Let them report it to the credit bureaus.

Might be difficult.

I checked into it before, IIRC I had to somehow sign up my business with the credit agencies. This, of course, took more money than it was worth.

Collection agencies didn't seem like much help either IIRC. THey wanted a contract for all outstanding debt, not just whatever I felt like having them collect.

But its been quite a while since I checked it out.
