How does one find a good moving company?

I've always moved myself in the past, but this time we're going to get us some movers to help us out! Anyways, what are some good questions to ask the moving company when I call. I mean, do they insure? Rates? What kind of trucks? Hell, I'm not really sure. BTW, this only a small distance move, maybe 20-30 miles? Not across state or anything.
