I was recording some film today and with my tripod, I made some noise on the film while some one was talking which was obviously less than desireable and I was wondering what I could do to fix this issue. I'm not sure if it's possible or not to remove certain sounds so that only vocals are able to be heard..

Most Audigy 2 and X-FI cards can do this using the Software and Hardware included by creative. But even better than that is one of these: http://www.elpj.com/purchase/declicker.php

Also while you are there check out the revoloutionary laser turntable! (Althought it's 25 years too late for it... :( )

That is awesome. :Q

No more worn out records..?!

But does it sound as good as the real thing? :p

Yes, it should sound better. Sony, Capitol Records, and many other big names have replaced their expensive old turntables and now use the ELP laser for all of their Archiving and Audio restoration work.

From what I have been told you will hear things in the LP that were never possible with conventional players.

15K?

ouch

That is the basic model that plays full size 45's only. The Deluxe model that plays any size 45's and 78's vinyl is 20k.

damn

i think i'll stick with my old turntable for now ;)

If you can afford one, get one. It is the best way to preserve old music and hear things you never heard before. Honestly at 20k most people can afford to buy one, if they drove a cheap used car instead.
