People always ask for help from guru's on htis forum. What makes someone a guru?

how do you know wheen you've crossed the line from "enthusiast" to "guru" ?

Do you get notice in the mail? is there a ceremony?

how?

It's best you not trouble yourself with reaching out like this.

Look your little bus is here!

Its kinda like buying something expense and being told if you need to ask the price you can't afford it....

I know a guy who is a boating enthusiast....I like to boat...but I never want to be referred to as a "Boating Enthusiast"...i want to be known as a guy who likes to boat

mitch is dead.. 🙁

hm, guru in some sense has more authority over enthusiasts to the point like he's never wrong on that particular subject. enthusiasts may not know every single detail about the area? it's just my definition though. so if you are never wrong in that particular field (if that field has right or wrong answers to questions), then you are a guru, IMO

Honestly, you are a guru the instant you proclaim yourself to be a guru. Note: you can't do that half-assed or the guru title won't stick. It is all or nothing. Always refer to yourself as a guru and insist behind the scenes that other people call you a guru. After a year or so, it'll stick.

At least that is how it works offline.
