If multi items are bought how do they ship them? Do the ship them separate or all together? Also I have $$$ in my paypal. On the feature on where you can buy from online stores and paypal sends you a cc number for your account how good does that work?

Anyone try it?

They don't combine shipping, which SUCKS, especially on small items that fit within one box - that's how they make up money from offering such low prices though. No experience with the PayPal deal.

Well on large orders they do combine somewhat. The last complete system i ordered in parts from them came to me in 2 large boxes with many smaller boxes inside them. Once you get past a certain point, the shipping per item starts to go down.

they drop ship usually. they can't combine things in the same box, i bet most of the items never pass through their hands.

I recently calculated shipping on a bunch of smaller items, and the shipping came out to be like.....almost half of what it would've been had I bought them all separately, so they do take quantity into account, methinks.

if you order enough, they will drop the prices of shipping has well has combine them. I have order $1000's from them over time. Many times they have been near complete computer systems.

I wonder how they calculate shipping. Sometimes the shipping price is less when combined, but other times when you add something heavy, they charge you more for shipping than when you buy it separately.

For example, I bought a lot of stuff for a new system and shipping was like 30 bucks. Add a case, and it came out to be like 47, bought the case separately and shipping was 15.

No, if you order a new computer's worth of stuff, NewEgg is NOT going to ship every part seperately- that's ridiculous! They will usually put as much as possible into one box, maybe two, then the big stuff like a case or speakers in their own box or shipped as is.

$6 individually, I had to pay $12 shipping for 2 SM cards that came in the same box. They easily could have been put in a 34 cent stamped envelop, but thats the way they make money.

They are owned by ABS Computers. ABS ships most of the stuff for them.

Well, they have a couple of locations that they ship from, so they probably lower shipping charges if the items are shipped from the same location.
