How Does Napster Make Money?

This is my question, how does Napster generate revenue? The service is free, I dont see alot of 'pop up, click on me banners'

So how do they get money from the end user?

I couldnt figure it out. Maybe someone could help me.

Napster is just like every other Internet company. Money goes out but doesn't come in (other than Investor Capital).

there's a small ad banner on the top right hand side of the napster interface. that should slow down the money crunch

banner ads are very poor methods of generating money as of late.

a lot of the ad companies are shriveling the payments to near nada,and paying very slowly..
