How does my wiring job look?

Been researching and getting ready for a good 3-4 months for this. My first new build in a couple years and I've really spent some time making sure it was done right (coming from AMD 3200+ and ATi X800XL). Thought I would share and get some input on the airflow and if there are any things I can improve on.

Wiring
Sorry for the camera phone pic, all I have right now.

Here are the parts so far:
Case: Antec P182
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-IP35-DS3L
Memory: G.Skill DDR2-8000 2x2GB - probably should have gotten 6400, oh well
Hard Drive: WD7500AAKS 750GB
Power Supply: Corsair HX520
Heatsink: Tuniq Tower 120
Monitor: Soyo 24 inch

Have pre-order in for E8400, planning to overclock it to 4.0 if it isn't too difficult. Also have EVGA 8800gt ordered if it ever gets in stock at NCIX ($243 shipped), and Vista x64 waiting.

Anyone know if the 8800gt will fit with that fan I have put in in the middle? Any wiring tips would also be appreciated.

Do I see a flat ribbon style cable? Shame Shame. :D

yeah I know it looks bad huh. Gigabyte board came with it. I have a leftover thin one from my old DFI board, maybe i'll switch that one out.

Ribbon cables are far better then the other cables you can buy.

Ribbon cables which are cut and tied together are better then non ribbon cables.

OP drag your Optical down to the lowest bay, and fold the ribbon cable so its shorter and less obvious.

My 2 cents.

Dont' be afraid to fold up that ribbon cable, get it as flat as you can. You'll definitely have to move it down to get enough slack but, it'll help.

I tried this and did not like the results. There was plenty of cable to fold up but I couldn't find a good place to stuff it. It wouldn't fit under the board or under the fan. So I went back to having it on top.

So does anyone have an 8800gt in this case with the extra fan I have in?

Ok. May I then reccomend slicing up the ribbon cable wire for wire and zip-tying it into a rounded cable. I actually prefer this method to that of using pre-made rounded cables as the end pieces on rounded cables are horrendously restrictive in cable placement.

yeah, thats old school, we've been doing that since before someone got smart and started throwing some plastic over them and charging 4 times as much, at least.

Just get a sharp razor blade, lay the ide cable out flat and slowly draw the lines between each wire or wire set(up to you). You don't have to cut all the way through on the first path. I usually just make sure I have a good score on the first path then flip it over and go again from the other side. It got a little tougher when they doubled up the wires and made them twice as thin but, the same method still works great, just have to be more careful, one slip and that cable goes into file 13.

Consider running your IDE cable and your front access USB cable behind the motherboard instead of on top of it.

You can safely hide a lot of stuff like that back there so long as you route it on the back of the mobo to avoid the solder pins sticking down.

Use simple scotch tape to keep them in place when you put the mobo back down onto its standoff pegs.

Edit: Just realized we have the same board and same Tuniq HSF. Here's a shot of my computer wiring:

The 8800GT should fit fine.
Fold the IDE cable so it 'turns' at 90deg angles (like folding paper). I'd use packing tape to secure it to your chassis, but that may look tackier then just letting it hover a bit. I can't even (really) imagine routing the IDE cable under the mobo... anything is possible though. What color is your DFI rounded IDE cable? If its yellow it'll fit the color scheme.
Routing the USB cables under your mobo is a great idea, but everything is already installed... Just run them straight down until the usb cable is at the bottom (where the front panel connector is) and fit appropriately.
Thats my suggestion(s)
Pic looks fine. 1.0MP camera? People buy 8MP+ camera's, but no one really uses more then 3MP (~1600x1200).

Alright, I can imagine routing it under the mobo (just lots of twists/turns when it comes out and attaches to the mobo).

2MP is 1600x1200, thats what my phone has. Though I agree, I don't know that I'll ever need to buy an actual camera as my phone aslo has a micro SD slot so I can take pictures directly to my 1gb micro sd card and the only dis-advantage over my moms 6 or 7 mp camera is she has a nice little dock that she can print pictures straight to 3x5 from. We've both taken the same picture and even printed out on 8x11 they look nearly identical.

Try switching the SATA cable (on the mobo) to the lowest port then pass the rest of the cable into the HDD bay.

Also try moving your USB cable to the bottom of the mobo section of the case and then secure with cable routers and zip-ties
