Starbucks is run by Southern Illinois University, and not Starbucks corporate.

"Starbucks, represented by the defense firm Heyl Royster, argued that [the plaintiff's] claim was actually a claim against the state which must be brought in the Court of Claims because the lawsuit is actually a suit against State employees."

Sounds to me Southern Illinois University licensed the Starbucks brand.

i dont understand the article. Why is Starbucks corporate still held accountable?
