How does intel RMA work?

I haven't had time to call them up yet, but I have an old PII 266 that has stopped working. I never overclocked it since there has no point and the retail HS/FAN is still on. How does it work? Do they do advanced RMA?
 
They will, but I doubt a 266 is still within 3 years. Is it?

If you have an invoice, cool.

If not, they'll go by the manufacture date.

 
I've still got the orginal reciept and it has the serial number and stuff on the chip on there, so it looks like its a go. Its 2 yrs 11 months now, i better hurry up!
