I have plug in HDD 2 to primary salve.
I have plug in CD-ROM to secondary master.
I have plug in HDD 3 to Raid-conrtoller(primary master.)

How will be HDD assign the drive number?

Thanks in advance.

ps: I am not running mirror.

the hdd is a storage device and does not make any decisions. windows decides what drive letter to assign, by a process that is kept secret 😉

who knows what drive letters they will be assigned. primary master will be C: but theres no telling how it will name the other drives.

in any case, you can change the drive letters later on.

if you read my signature, you know that I am using Win98............................................................

Yes, but how Win9x assigns its drives are still explained in the FAQ.
