I rarely use milk, so I don't like buying it because it spoils. Does dry milk taste the same?
Can I make a caucasian with it?

Too, too true -- even in a mixed drink, mere alchohol can't overpower it's retch inducing badness, BUT . . .Originally posted by: scarpent
Not even close. I'd go without milk rather than use powered.

Fresh, real milk DOES indeed freeze and re-thaw without any noticeable degradation in taste. Just be sure you do so in a container that won't taint the taste. Glass is the best, but presents obvious problems with freezing -- be sure to leave some room for expansion is you use glass, because expansion WILL happen.
Hmmmmm, just looked up "caucasian". Google sez you should use half and half, with ice cubes -- gave me an idea. Why not buy a pint of half and half and pour it into a plastic ice cube tray, and then cover the tray with saran wrap before putting it in the freezer?
Then skip the ice cubes with your drink and substitute with half and half cubes, ftw!
