Like the title says, how do they do it on PC's which only have integrated graphics ? Do they disable the new GUI ? If so, why not just put Vista Basic on the machines in the first place ?

I have a Dell Inspiron 1501, AMD Single Core 2Ghz, 2 GB Ram, X1150 ATI integrated Video and it works just ducky running Aero Glass, It also works fine using Ultimate with Dreamscenes running the desktop background.

You just have to meet the specifications 256 MB Ram ( It also doesn't have to be integrated Ram) mine has 128 dedicated and 128 shared, DX9 ...

Some (but by no means all) integrated graphics processors can run the full Aero interface. Not that being able to run Aero is an actual requirement for Home Premium.

I have the same laptop, but with the tl-56 and Vista runs real pretty.

I have integrated intel graphics on my desktop and in testing it ran Vista Ultimate with all the Aero eye candy just fine.
