I think Coke Zero tastes even better than regular Coke. If it's just loaded up on sugar, I can live with it 🙂

Coke replaced the nutrient sweetener, high Fructose corn syrup, with Aspartame and Acesulfame Potassium.

Edit:
I remember reading on the label that Coke was using Sucralose, my mistake.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:
Sucralose is a non-caloric sweetener, also known by the trade name SPLENDA. In the European Union it is also known under the E number (additive code) E955. It is 500?600 times as sweet as sucrose, making it roughly twice as sweet as saccharin and four times as sweet as aspartame. It is manufactured by the selective chlorination of sucrose, by which three of sucrose's hydroxyl groups are substituted with chlorine atoms to produce 1,6-dichloro-1,6-dideoxy-ß-D-fructo-furanosyl 4-chloro-4-deoxy-a-D-galactopyranoside. Unlike aspartame, it is stable under heat and over a broad range of pH conditions, and can be used in baking, or in products that require a long shelf life.

interesting. I kind of appreciate my intro to chem class now 😀

Hmm... interesting. I don't see any mentioning of it on the list of ingredients on the can though.

Ingredients listed: Carbonated Water, Caramel Color, Phosphoric Acid, Aspartame, Potassium Benzoate (to protect taste), Natural Flavors, Potassium Citrate, Acesulfame Potassium, and Caffeine.

For a treat around here, I used to go to a soda/cigar shop, and get real coke, made with pure cane sugar, or Dr.Pepper made with real sugar. You can taste the difference.

Splenda. Splenda tastes like real sugar because it is sucralose. I like to use it for sugar in everything because it tastes better IMO.

It tastes like slightly flat regular coke to me, but the simple solution to that problem is to add RUM. Then it tastes just fine.

Aspartame can only cause cancer in extremely large amounts. Impossible to eat enough of it to cause cancer unless you eat a few pounds a day. Where the hell do you get memory loss from?

Drink these "diet" product every day for 2 weeks and after you wont taste the after taste.Im now use to these coke diet, zero. ( except the Crush Orange who taste horrible in his diet uniform. )

Geez, if you're concerned about your health, why don't you just stop drinking coke and have some good ol' water or fruit juice? Those taste better IMO anyway.
