I've heard that bittorrent works better the more you upload, and I was wondering, is this true?
Like I know some players let you restrict the upload speed. But I heard that if you do this, it will end up slowing down your downloads, is this true? Does it matter what client you use or does this happen with all clients?
I use the original bittorrent player version 3.4 (so that i can have multiple downloads going at once, i think they took that away in version 4!)
and I upload way more than i download usually. like usually it ends up being that i upload 2 times as much as i download, which sucks, cuz it hogs all my bandwidth 🙁
Also how does the whole seeding and leeching thing work, when u see that listed on torrent file sites? Does Seeder mean they are done downloading the program and now they are seeding it?
Technically everyone is seeding while they are downloading (if they use the default settings) so does the seeders # include everyone who is seeding or only those who have completed the file?
