how does atot define jerk? How Do they define nice guy?

This i am very curious about. I'll make a poll after I get some responses.


So far my interpretation is most of atot thinks

guy with a hot girl = jerk.

lonely, depressed, chode = nice guy


dont take it out of context. I'm talking in strict terms when ppl are having the nice guy vs jerk debate and how it relates to sucess with women.

nice guy: aware of most peoples feelings and thoughts. Will try to be kind and understanding of people/women
jerk: self absorbed, just cares about himself, feelings of others go un-noticed, will not care what his actions will do to those around him
 
Your definition is pretty much correct. In general ATOT thinks:

if you have a girlfriend and I don't, or if you have a prettier girlfriend than me - you're a jerk.
If you're me, or one of my friends, then you're a nice guy.

I don't agree. For instance, I think you're a jerk and I have no idea if you even have a girlfriend.

A jerk has to come to ATOT to ask other people if they think he's being a jerk because of something he thinks or is doing.

A nice guy knows when he's being a jerk and fixes it.
 
To me....

Jerk is someone who acts cocky. Not confident but cocky. They think they're sweet sh!t and are just begging for someone to break them. They act and treat others like they are only around to amuse them. These are the kind of douchebags who work out 2x a month and try to act like hardasses.

Nice guy is just that, nice. Doesn't have to be a pushover, just someone who shows respect for others and doesn't act like an ass. Can be confident as anyone else, just is humble enough to know not to try to make a show out of himself. Usually the kind of guy who eventually beats down a jerk and scares off jerk's douchebag crew.
 
Nice guys can get laid. It's just that there are a smaller fraction of those nice guys who have the skills to lay women compared to the fraction of jerks who can.
