I sold a 4670 on ebay to a buyer saying the 1080p h264 video playback is choppy and the sound stuttery. I know there is nothing wrong with the card, as I used it before and it worked perfectly, however I have never used it for GPU decoding and have no idea how that works.
Is there some special player or codec needed? Buyer is using windows media player and does not seem to understand me when I asked him if he is using the right codecs or method for GPU decoding. I suspect his Pentium D dual core is doing the decoding and is too slow.
This may be more trouble than it is worth, and if it is I will just refund his money and sell the card again, I shouldn't lose anything unless the card ends up selling for less. I would like to see if I can help fix his problem first though, as I have no clue what condition the card will be returned in and would rather avoid the hassle of re-selling.
