How does AMD make the holographic sticker on their fans?

You can only see the logo when looking at it from a fairly narrow (roughly 15 degree i would say). Looking at it from other angles, it appears black. The really strange thing is that if it reflects at call it 0 - 15 degrees, it does not reflect at 180 - 195 degrees (directly opposite).
Anybody know how this works?

It's cuz you're looking on the wrong side of the sticker.
