How does Amazon ship...FedEx or UPS?

I'm looking to get some important gifts shipped overnight from Amazon, and I need them by Friday afternoon. The local UPS service typically delivers late in the day (after 4:00 or 5:00), but typically FedEx delivers the items early in the day.

I'm pretty sure Amazon ships by Fedex, but I just need to confirm.
