How does a Pascal Core compare to a Maxwell core?

I'm thinking specifically of 384 Pascal cores @ 1252 Mhz base clock/1506 Mhz turbo vs. 640 Maxwell v1 cores @ 1020 Mhz base clock/1085 Mhz turbo clock.

.....But I am also interested in hearing people's opinion of Pascal vs. Maxwell v2 as well.

Would be fun to compare 384 kepler cores(GT 730) vs 384 Maxwell cores(GT 940m) vs 384 Pascal cores(GT 1030)
However Maxwell 940m has ddr3 memory so its a bit slower than Kepler GT 730.
To get an idea 940m scores 2300 in 3Dmark11 while 730 kepler scores 2500,Pascal 1030 is expected to score around 4000 so around 60% better.
So 1.6 Kepler core= 1 Pascal core

Essentially the same, so maxwell 640 cores will win easy.

it is very similar but the clocks are the big improvement, 1.5 vs 1.09GHz in his comparison.

also Pascal have some improvements mainly visible in DX12 I think and better memory compression,
