we all know the duron beats the celeron II straight up. but how does the celeron II do when the bus is equal to the 100 FSB of the Duron? has anyone tested or try this? anyone know where i can find these results?

it's simple.
read the anand's article about the duron.
and then take a look to the Celeron2 OCing guide.
use a little bit of math, scale the performance at the same frequency, and you've got yr duron vs celeron2.
ok, it's not so simple. but should work.

A duron is roughly in line with Athlon/P3 performance. A celeron 566@850 is about equal to a Duron 700 in Q3 low res benchmarks(when cpu is stressed).

It still loses. Half of the tests I've seen have the duron 700 outperforming the celeron at 850 running at a 100 mhz CPU bus. It's mostly the celeron's slower and smaller cache.

Durons kill Celeries... there's no comparison. if you are thinking about a value PC, Duron is the the way to go... no questions about it
