how do you uninstall win 2000 while it's on a dual boot (ME/2000)?

Or how do I remove the winME operating system. I don't want to format the partition. What do I do? I want to stick with windows 2000 only or go to win98SE/win2000 dual boot.

Are they on the same partition or different ones?

If they are on different partitions do you have shared data between them?

I see you use your quickfingers again. Oh well, since you've done reformatting then there's no need to spend time explaining to you how to do it. BCYL question is valid. The way the two OS were installed determines the effective way of removing one of them.
