How do you underline a string in VB.net?

Well, I want to underline a string in VB.net 2003, and i don't know how. Also, Google has been oddly unhelpful.

Underline a single character is &, that's all I remember.

Depending on the control, & or setting its font to an underlined font, or for a rich text box selecting and changing the style of a section of text.

For setting a RTF or HTML control from a buffer/file you'd include the right \tag or < tag > in the content, e.g. < u > under < /u >
