How do you turn a Rain Check for one item into a Rain Check for TWO of that item?

I got a rain check yesterday...I meant to ask for two. The rain check specifically says "one." Is it possible when they call me to say "it's in" to finagle a second one?

Just asking...

It's possible. Can't you just go get another one though?

For a change of pace...

Cross out the 'one', write 'two' above it, then scribble down two random initials next to it, and hope someone there has those initials.

You know what? That worked. I just got back. I went up to College Clueless Student #1 and said:

Dude. Like. I was like. Here last night and stuff...*stares at ceiling, scratches chin* and like I wanted two. But dude, the dude put one.

College Kid #1 looked at the raincheck and said:

Dude. Like, we can just do you up another one and stuff....

I said:

He said.

Heh, dude.

He did me up an new raincheck for "Quantity = 2" and I thanked him w/a hearty, gut-felt "DUDE!" and left.

I guess you just have to speak the lingo.....160GB of 7200rpm 8mb buffer goodnes for about $155 w/tax is a very beautiful thing.:cool:

dude! sweet! I paid, like, $288 and $312 for my 2, 250 GBs.

(Of course I wanted cooler / quieter 5400 rpm and to keep the number of drives down, but $1/GB is definitely nicer than $1.25)
